Myotherapy

Myotherapists are an important part of the health care team and can provide relief from the pain of muscle strain and injury and also relieve the tension and stress from everyday life. Myotherapy is the specialized treatment of soft tissue (muscle, tendon, ligament and fascia (the connective tissues enclosing the muscle). Myotherapists work in the assessment and treatment of muscular pain and injury, particularly where it affects movement and mobility.

 

Our myotherapists are highly trained in all areas of muscle treatment and can use a variety of general and specific techniques to find and treat the cause of your pain, not just the symptoms. Myotherapy is about providing optimal hands-on care and management for muscle dysfunction.

 

Treatments involve the application of a combination of advanced hands on treatments including muscle mobilisation and deep tissue massage techniques as well as stretching and corrective exercises designed to treat injury, relieve pain, and improve mobility, strength and posture.

 

Personal Training

Gators Myotherapy and Personal Training can tailor a Personal Training program to suit your needs; from one on one training, training with a friend or partner or with a group of friends and family. Packages can be designed for any fitness level and aimed at achieving your own personal goals.

 

At Gators we understand that each client is unique, and therefore has their own goals, ambitions and desires regarding their personal health and fitness. We can tailor a program to suit each individual or a package to cater for a small group who wish to train together.

 

Combining our expertise in Myotherapy and Personal Training, we are specialists in corrective exercise for injury treatment and prevention, core stability training and rehabilitation. We strongly believe that ‘prevention is better than cure’.

No matter what your starting point, or your goal, everyone can move forward step by step towards their target.



Take advantage of our extended operating hours. Sessions are available before and after work, or if time is limited, try a half hour in your lunch break.
